Army Aviation Corps celebrates 32nd Raising Day

The Army Aviation Corps (ACC) celebrated its 32nd raising day at a function held at the headquarters of the Northern Command in Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir today.

The AAC was raised on Nov 1, 1986 as a separate Corps.

On the occasion, Lt Gen Devraj Anbu, the GOC-IN-C Northern Command, complimented the AAC personnel for their dedication, hard-work and commitment while carrying out flying operations in most challenging situations, a defence spokesperson said.

He exhorted all the ranks to continue to strive for excellence in all fields and make the Army proud of their achievements, the spokesperson said.

The AAC, the "Arm of the future" has not only performed exceedingly well in its role of supporting the ground forces during operations but also aided civilians as a support to civil authorities, the spokesperson said.
