Army chopper crash lands in Bangladesh, 2 injured

At least two Bangladeshi army officers were injured as a military training helicopter crash landed in the outskirts of the capital today, officials said.

Pilot of the helicopter Maj Nazrul Islam and trainee officer Lt Col Ariful Bari were injured as it was forced to crash land on an open field at Dhamrai village, the Prothom Alo newspaper reported quoting army officers.

The injured officers were first sent to a nearby private hospital and after initial treatment they were transferred to a combined military hospital here.
