The person, identified as Fayaz Ahmad, was injured after being hit by the vehicle in Janglat Mandi Chowk area, police said.
The driver was arrested immediately after the mishap, they said, adding the injured has been admitted to a hospital.
The vehicle involved in the accident has also been seized.
