An Army jawan was arrested for allegedly trying to outrage the modesty of a 19-year-old girl, police said.
Sepoy Mukesh Singh of the Garhwal Regiment tried to molest a Jadavpur University student in the Maidan area of the city last night, they said.
The girl raised the alarm and informed police officials, following which Mukesh was arrested.
