An army jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
The incident occurred around 10.40 pm yesterday when Lance Naik R Ashok, posted in an Army camp at Rada in Reasi district, allegedly shot himself with his service rifle, police said, adding that no further information was available.
A case has been registered and a probe was on, police said.
