Army jawan die in Jammu

An army jawan today died wile on duty in outskirts of Jammu city.

Sepoy Balbir Singh, posted at 15-Field Ammunition Depot (FAD) at Jandraha belt of Jammu district, collapsed this morning following chest pain during his duty hours, police officials said.

He was rushed to a health center at Dansal, where doctors declared him brought dead, they said adding that the reason behind the death is being investigated and postmortem has been done.

The body of Balbir, who belongs to Garwal area of Uttarakhand, has been handed over by police to FAD officials.
