Army, police recover cache of weaponery in Poonch

The Army and the police today recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Poonch district, police said.

During a search operation, Rastriya Rifle troops, along with the police team led by Inspector Vijay Dhar, recovered an old dump of arms and ammunitions from a natural cave from Makhiwala forest (Hari Budha) in Poonch, a police officer said.

The cache includes 16 UBGL grenades, one chinese grenade, three AK magazines, 80 Rounds AK rifle, one UBGL, one pistol belt, one pistol magazine, two RPG grenades, one RPG buster, 15 metres of electric wire and one plastic bucket, he said.
