The Army will hold a rally on October 7 to redress grievances of widows, ex-servicemen and 'veer naris' and highlight various government schemes for them.
The rally will be organised at Akhnoor Military Station, a defence spokesman said on Thursday.
The meet will help resolve their pension anomalies and grievances, extend welfare benefits, and apprise them of various welfare schemes launched by the Armed Forces and the Jammu and Kashmir government.
Enrolment for Aadhaar and application for birth and death registrations can be done at the event.
