The dental corps of the army today celebrated its 74th Raising Day by hosting health care events at the Udhampur-based Northern Command headquarters.
"The army's Northern Command Dental Corps celebrated its 74 Corps Day at Udhampur today. All ranks and their families enthusiastically took part in the same," Udhampur-based defence spokesman Col SD Goswami said.
He said that today's celebrations were a culmination of many public health care events, conducted in the run up to raising day. "These included station-level public health awareness functions for all ranks of Udhampur garrison, oral health exhibitions and checkups of garrison schools," he said.
GOC-in-C Northern Command Lt Gen DS Hooda extended his warm greetings and good wishes to all ranks of the army dental corps and praised them for maintaining high standard of patient care in the northern command zone.
