The army's strategic preparedness and valour should be trusted, the BJP said today, noting that the forces had promised to mount an effective and appropriate response to the mutilation of two Indian soldiers by the Pakistani army.
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad spoke about trusting the army in answer to a question on the party's stand on the issue at a press conference here.
Asked about the "misuse" of the social media in Kashmir, the IT minister said it was a serious issue and the government would act appropriately.

It believed the government should not rush into any decision that would embolden "anti-national" forces.
"It is her belief. The BJP does not share it," the leader said when asked if the saffron party favoured a dialogue with all stakeholders, including separatists, in Kashmir.
BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav had recently said separatists had a single motto -- which was to have "one dead body a day" so that they could play "sentimental politics" over the bodies.
"They use people of the valley as scapegoats in their reprehensible politics of violence and separatism. The security forces and the government on the other hand try their best to ensure that the ill-intentions of the separatists don't succeed," he had posted on Facebook last week.
