Arora got the better of Maharashtra snooker champion Hasan Badami 7-4 in the best of 13-frame final to clinch the men's crown.
Earlier, Arantxa rallied from 0-2 and 2-4 to subdue her more fancied rival Anuja Thakur-Chandra of Delhi 5-4 in the women's final.
Badami, who squeaked into the main draw from the double elimination round for losers, ended former Maharashtra junior snooker champion Rovin D'Souza's winning streak with a convincing 6-2 win that included a break of 52 in the eighth frame, while Arora beat Tamil Nadu-based K. Venkatesh of Railways 6-1 in the other best-of-11 frames semi-finals.
