Former West Bengal DGP Rajat Majumdar was today arrested by the CBI for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.
He was later admitted in a government hospital after he complained about health problems, doctors said.
"He was admitted to NRS hospital and he is presently in ICCU after complaining of chest pain. We can't say anything more than this," Principal of NRS hospital Manju Banerjee told PTI.

He was arrested by the CBI today. Majumdar, who has been denying allegations against him, will be produced before a designated court here, they said.
CBI has registered four FIRs against Saradha Group in the chit fund scam.
The Supreme Court had handed over the Saradha chit fund scam probe to CBI and asked the state governments to provide all logistical help to the agency's team investigating the matter.
