Actor Jackie Chan, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, got an unusual gift from Chinese artist Red Hong Yi.

Hong Yi made a portrait of the 'Shanghai Nights' actor using 64,000 chopsticks which she released in a video, reported People magazine.

The video shows the artist constructing the portrait by hanging bundles of chopsticks vertically from a large rack.

"I used disposable bamboo chopsticks to show that disposable materials can be reused and made into something else more meaningful and beautiful," she said.

"I spent a month collecting these chopsticks from cafes, stalls and factories in Zhejiang and Beijing, then tying each of them up," she added.

Chan was presented with the portrait at a birthday concert held in Beijing.
