Arunachal inks MoU for skill development

Arunachal Pradesh government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, for skill development of local people.

The MoU, signed in New Delhi in presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, will facilitate development of skill to 1,600 people of Arunachal Pradesh in the first of a four year project under a scheme for 'Skill Development in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) Sector'.

It would enhance skill development capacity in ESDM sector through public and private sectors for students or unemployed youth, an official release said here.
 

With the signing of the MoU, it is expected that the skill to be imparted through various training partners would generate a good number of skilled manpower in ESDM sector in the state, the release added.
