Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has decided to release Rs 15 crore for emergency repair and maintenance of roads and bridges damaged by the recent landslides here as well as in other parts of the state, an official release said today.
Tuki, who visited damaged portions of roads on June 30 in and around the state capital, had discussed the status of roads in the cabinet meeting held here yesterday.
For repair and restoration of capital roads, especially NH-52A from Chimpu to Banderdewa, the cabinet decided to sanction another Rs 3 crore as an emergency fund, the release said.

In addition, the government would release Rs 45 lakh for construction of three culverts on the road from Mob-II to '0' Point Tinali via State Museum in Itanagar.
The release said the road can be utilized as an arterial road by commuters of the capital city and ease traffic congestion on the highway during rush hours.
The chief minister also held a meeting to review the implementation status of all the state government flagship programmes.
