Tilling Yam of Arunachal Pradesh has been awarded the National Youth Award 2011-2012 by President Pranab Mukherjee, official sources said here today.
She was one among the 27 individuals who were conferred the National Youth Award by the President in a function at the Darbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhawan yesterday.
Hailing from Hong village in Lower Subansiri district, Tilling Yam was selected for the award for her voluntary and community service to the society.
