Ashoka Buildcon arm bags Rs 1,187 cr project in AP from NHAI

Highways developer Ashoka Buildcon today said its arm has won a Rs 1,187 crore project from NHAI for widening of a stretch of NH 5 in Andhra Pradesh.

"The company's subsidiary viz Ashoka Concessions Ltd (ACL) has received letter of award from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) ... For six laning of Ranastalam to Anandpuram (Visakhapatnam) section of NH 5 (new NH 16) in Andhra Pradesh," Ashoka Buildcon said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.

The project will be undertaken on hybrid annuity mode under the National Highways Development Project phase V, it said.

"The accepted bid project cost is Rs 1,187.10 crore," it said.
