Ashoka Buildcon wins Rs 24 crore order from NHAI in Karnataka

Road developer Ashoka Buildcon today said it has bagged Rs 24 crore contract from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for collecting user fee at Kognoli Toll plaza in Karnataka.

"The company has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the project viz. Collection of user fee through fee collecting agency, on the basis of competitive bidding at Kognoli Toll Plaza for the section from Maharashtra Border-Belgaum of National Highway-4 in Karnataka from NHAI," the company said in a filing with the BSE.

The estimated value of the contract is Rs 24.09 crore, it said.

"The company has been engaged by NHAI to collect user fee for the period of one year," it added.
 

The shares of the company closed at Rs 63.70 per scrip, up 1.76 per cent, on the BSE today.
