The superintendent of a government ashram school in Dhamangaon in Talasari here was today arrested for allegedly molesting tribal students, police said.
Senior Inspector Kailas Barve of the Talasari police station told PTI that the superintendent was arrested after two of the victims filed a complaint yesterday.
"He has been charged under section 354 of the IPC and relevant sections of the POCSO Act. The SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has also been invoked. The accused has been remanded in police custody for two days," the official said.
