Ashwin triumphed in the LGB Formula Four category while Arjun won the Indian Touring Cars categories.
Both Ashwin and Arjun ignored the chaos around, keeping their cool to eventual top place on the podiums.
Their victories also helped their respective teams to Team Championship titles.
Ashwin now has a a whopping 186 points, 54 points ahead of his teammate Sarosh. Saran Vikram is in third spot with 106 points.
There was so much of action happening around the track behind Arjun but he remained focused and won in 19:57.393 seconds, ahead of veteran Leela Krishnan (20:01.547--Big Foots Racing), who performed superbly to finish second after being pushed to the sixth spot in between the race.
Incidentally, Leela returned the best lap time of 1:57.904 secs compared to Arjun
