An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police was killed and his friend injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with another in Nadia district, police said today.
ASI of New Town Police Station Deepankar Mondal and his friend Rajdeep Ghosh were on their way to Chakdaha from Ranaghat when their car with another vehicle last night, the police said.
Mondal died in the collision while friend Ghosh has been admitted to hospital, they added.
