The places are Tinsukia (Sadar), Margharita (Civil) and Sadiya (C) subdivisions, Dibrugarh district, Sivasagar district including Sivasagar (S), Charaideo (C) and Nazira (C) Subdivisions, Jorhat District including Jorhat (S), Titabor (C), and Majuli( C) Subdivisions, according to an official release today.
Golaghat District including Golaghat (S), Dhansiri (C) and Bokakhat (C) Subdivisions, Nagaon Distrcit including Nagaon (S) and Kaliabor (C) Subdivisions, Dhemaji District including Dhemaji (S) and Jonai (C) Subdivisions, Lakhimpur District including Lakhimpur (S) and Dhakuakhana (C) Subdivisions are the other places.
The Government further declared paid holiday under the NI Act, 1881 in those areas in respect of all Central Government offices, State Government offices, public sector undertakings, corporations, boards, banks, educational institutions, etc.
