A delegation of the youth body submitted a memorandum to Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi urging him to put pressure on the Centre to control the price hike of petrol and diesel in the greater interest of the poor people of the country, an AIUDF press release said.
The delegation also demanded that the frequent price hike of essential commodities be controlled immediately.
