Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday said his government is working with the Prime Ministers vision of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikash and Sabka Viswas' to ensure all-round development of the state.
The Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been trying to transform every every sphere of public life in the country and the state government has been inspired by this to bring about development in every nook and corner of the state, Sonowal said.
He said this while laying the foundation stone for various development initiatives in Chabua Assembly constituency of Dibrugarh district.
In Chabua assembly constituency alone, the state government has spent around Rs 150 crore in various development works and welfare schemes.
Recalling his school days in Bindhakata High School at Chabua, the chief minister urged teachers and parents of the area to imbibe good moral values in their children and inspire them to study hard.
He also appealed to all sections of people to promote scientific temperament and fight against superstition and social evils.
Earlier the chief minister also visited a post-flood health camp in the area.
