The other members of the reconstituted Governing Body of the AIM are Principal Secretary of Planning & Development Department, Commissioner and Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department, Commissioner and Secretary of Higher Education (Technical) Department; Commissioner and Secretary of PWD (Building) and Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro).
The other members include the Director of IIM, Shillong, Director of IIT, Guwahati, Assam Director of Technical Education, Managing Director of Numaligarh Refinery Limited, Managing Director of Premier Cryogenics Limited, nominee of Secretary, NEC, Shillong and nominee of Vice Chancellor, Gauhati University and a nominee of Federation of Industries of North East Region (FINER).
