Assam Government has withdrawn the prohibition notification on two variants of Wai-Wai noodles declaring the products as safe for human consumption, an official release said here today.
The ban on Wai-Wai mimi Ready to Eat Noodles and Wai-Wai 1-2-3 Noodles (mini) was withdrawn after the state's Food Analyst found that the products have been improved by the company and now conform to the prescribed standards, the release said.
The products were banned in June after samples of the products were found unsafe as they contained Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) which is prohibited to be used in pastas and noodles.
