An assistant drug controller wastoday arrested by the anti-corruption bureau for allegedly accepting abribeof Rs 80,000 in Chhattisgarh's Durg district.
Ravindra Gendle (32), assistant drug controller, Durg, was caught after accepting abribefrom Omprakash Sahu for restoring a shop license, an ACBofficial told PTI.
Sahu runs a medical shop in Damdha. Its license was recently suspended by Gendle citing some reasons.

To restore it, the officer demanded Rs 80,000.
Sahu lodged a complaint with ACB. Gendle had asked Sahu to leave the money at a shop near his office. ACB arrested him today while collecting the money.
A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against him.
