Singer Aston Merrygold is planning to launch a solo career after his band JLS go their separate ways later this month.
The singer's group are set to disband once their tour ends later this month. While bandmate Marvin Humes has landed a presenting job on 'The Voice', JB Gill is looking forward to working on his farm and Oritse Williams is ready for a break, Aston is already thinking ahead to his musical future, reported Contactmusic.
"I'm going to carry on with my music. I want to start releasing some solo material because I've been writing in the studio for quite a few months now. I'm looking forward to getting my work out there," he said.
The quartet shot to fame on 'The X Factor' in 2006.
However, the band are adamant their decision to break-up is the best thing for them because they don't want to be remembered as boring.
