A youth has been booked for allegedly threatening the security guard outside the ATM of a leading private sector bank when the latter was guarding a cash van in suburban Bandra here, police said today.
Ramashankar Tripathi was guarding the cash van today when he saw a youth approaching near the bank ATM at Pali Hill in Bandra.
Taking a precautionary action, Tripathi asked the youth not to stand near the ATM. But the accused took out a knife and threatened the security guard, police said.

There was no CCTV in the area and the efforts were on to identify as well as nab the accused, the official said, adding the youth has been booked under section 506(2) of IPC.
