Tech firm Atos on Monday said it has signed a cooperation agreement with C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) for technology advancement in quantum computing, artificial intelligence and exascale computing.
The partnership encompasses creation of a 'Quantum Computing Experience Centre' at C-DAC's headquarters in Pune, a statement said. It aims to bring together users from academic, scientific, research and industry to rapidly acquire skills and develop further expertise in the field of quantum computing with the support from the Government of India, it added.
The centre will enable advance study of applications of quantum theory, thereby creating new technologies and platforms for information security, connectivity and computing, it said.

* Udacity's India biz clocks 40 pc revenue growth in 2018
*US-based online education company Udacity on Monday said it has registered 40 per cent year-on-year revenue growth for its India business.
The platform's enterprise business grew over 100 per cent on the back of its B2B service delivery during the same year on the back of a spectrum of enterprise associations including giants such as Infosys and KPIT, among others, a statement said.
The lifelong learning platform also clocked a 35 per cent year-on-year increase in its user base in India, which currently stands at over 1.3 million learners in India. On the global front, Udacity clocked a 25 per cent revenue growth in 2018.
