City-based ATS Elgi, largest manufacturer and sellers of automotive vehicle servicing equipment, today launched its new venture 'Autosure' -- a testing laboratory for cars.
"Autosure is a state-of-the-art test lab, equipped with an array of sophisticated equipment for testing cars, scientifically evaluating the vehicles, beneficial both for buyers and sellers," ATS Elgi Managing Director Ramesh Ponnuswami told reporters here.
Claimed to be the first-of-its-kind in the World, the testing process would be completed in 95 minutes and the customer will get a detailed report that explains outcome, probable causes and suggestions, he said.
Stating that the test report from Autosure would accurately present the condition of a car, which will help customer in selling, buying or just testing their own cars, Ramesh said.
Just like master check up for humans, this was master check for cars, with one year guarantee, Ramesh said.
With Rs 1 crore to Rs 1.5 crore investment for a facility, the company was planning to open 200 Autosure centres, including franchises, pan India in the next three years, he said.
