Attack on Amarnath pilgrims "cowardly", says Ajmer dargah head

The spiritual head of the Ajmer dargah, Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, today condemned the terrorist attack on a bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir terming it a "cowardly act".

This act of terror has brought shame to Kashmir, he said.

In a statement, Khan also said that there is no place for violence in Islam and called upon all religious leaders to come together against terrorism.

He urged Muslims and the Kashmiri youth to stand united against terrorism to give a message to the world that the Indian Muslim is a true follower of peace.
