The team after arriving here tomorrow will head for Sandeshkhali to assess the situation.
Three persons were arrested on May 28 in connection with the clash at Sandeshkhali between BJP and TMC supporters which had left several BJP and some CPI(M) workers injured.
The BJP and CPI(M) had observed a 12-hour long bandh in the area yesterday.
State BJP president Rahul Sinha, who had earlier pitched for a visit by a central government team, said that the BJP wanted to give time to the state government to take action.
"We spoke to the state Chief Secretary and have been assured that steps will be taken. So we want to wait and watch what steps are taken," Sinha said.
The state unit held a brainstorming session during the day in the presence of Siddharth Nath Singh, to chalk out a plan of action before the next municipal polls in 2015 and assembly polls in 2016.
