Seven more people were arrested today in connection with the attack on a police station in suburban Trombay yesterday.
A mob vandalised a police station in Trombay area in the wee hours yesterday, after the police arrested a person for 'hurting religious sentiments' through a Facebook post the previous night.
The mob wanted the police to hand him over to it. In a fit of rage, it attacked the police station and torched some police vehicles.
Police arrested 17 persons for rioting.
Today another seven persons who were allegedly part of the mob were arrested, a senior police official said here.
They were produced before a court which sent them in police custody till March 24.
