According to the complainant, Bharatsimha Reddy and others went to the house of Khaganatha Reddy, Ravinder's father, on October 20 with sickles and allegedly used filthy language and threatened him.

Following the court directives, the Kodandapur police registered a case under Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 448 (house-trespass). Further probe is underway.
