Authorities say the baggage claim area of the airport in Austin has been evacuated because of a suspicious package.
Austin police spokeswoman Lisa Cortinas said that the bomb squad was on the way there to check it out.
Derick Hackett, Austin Department of Aviation spokesman, says the evacuated baggage claim area was on the lower level of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
He says flights have not been affected.
