Australia-based Football Star Academy (FSA) is making its entry in the country by offering a training programme in the city of Coimbatore.
FSA has partnered with 'RaK's Pallikoodam' to provide the training programme that will help harness the finest young sporting talents, FSA Australia Coach and Business Development Manager David Thomson told reporters.
The academy will help in setting up a Centre of Excellence with multi-sport facility, where the young and aspiring kids can display their talents, he said.

More than 5,000 students get trained every week in 56 centres of the academy across the world, he said.
The facility here would start operations from April 14 and already 100 youngsters in the age group of 5-16 have registered for the programme, FSA Indian National Director Karthik Ranganathan said.
The local partner will invest in infrastructure and other basic requirements needed, he said.
FSA would also start a centre in Chennai in August and Bengaluru in another six months, Karthik said.
