Auto driver booked for molesting woman scribe in Mumbai

An unidentified autorickshaw driver was today booked for allegedly molesting a city-based woman journalist here, police said.

The incident took place in suburban Kurla here when the victim was trying to hire an auto. The rickshaw driver used abusive language against her. When the scribe raised an alarm, the accused fled from the spot, police said.

"We are investigating the case and trying to find the accused," Vinoba Bhave Nagar police officials said.

The accused has been booked under section 354 of IPC and Motor Vehicles Act.
