An autorickshaw driver was today arrested for allegedly stabbing a 'Q' branch Police constable who intervened in a brawl between him and another person here.
Police said the constable Murugan (35) tried to pacify and separate the two when the driver, Saravanan, allegedly stabbed him with a broken beer bottle.
Police registered a case and arrested him.
