Four suspected auto lifters were arrested here, the police said today.
The accused would dispose off the stolen vehicles in Nagaland, they said.
While Mehraj (30) and Sanjeev Tomar (48) would steal the vehicles, Deepak (25) and Amarjeet Kumar (27) would drive them to Dimapur, said Ishwar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).
Police said they were brought into the business by a dismissed Delhi Police constable, Narender, but soon developed their own network.
Following a tip-off, Deepak and Amarjeet were arrested when they were going to dispose off a stolen Creta car in Dimapur said the officer.
They led the police to Mehraj and Tomar and five more stolen cars were recovered, said the DCP.
