Auto rickshaw driver brutally murdered in Ghaziabad

An e-rickshaw driver was brutally murdered by some persons over an old dispute in Dasna area of Ghaziabad, police said today.

Shakeel, a resident of Yaseen Gadhi Mohalla, yesterday received a call. Thereafter, he went missing. His head and torso were later recovered from two separate places, Virender Yadav, SHO Mussorie Police Station, said.

Police said that locals found Shakeel's skull wrapped in a shirt in a grave yard. The torso was also recovered by police this morning.

Shakeel's elder brother Vakeel lodged an FIR with police accusing Irshad, Aamir and Bhure Qureshi of the crime.

Three years ago, Shakeel had fired at Irshad. Since then they were indulged in a rivalry.
 

Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Yadav said that a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
