The Auto Taxi Bachao Manch today demanded the AAP government and Delhi Police take strict action against app based cab aggregators "violating" the Motor Vehicle Act provisions in the national capital.
"The app based cab aggregators are not only violating the relevant rules including MV Act provisions, they are also affecting employment of autos and taxis plying in the city," said Rakesh Agarwal, a leader of the Manch.
The Auto Taxi Bachao Manch, an umbrella organisation fighting for safeguarding interests of auto and taxi drivers in Delhi has also written open letters to the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Commissioner of Police seeking their intervention in this regard.
