In a bid to spread awareness about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet projects including cleanliness drive, a section of autorickshaw drivers will soon be putting up pictures about these initiatives through their GPS-enabled fare meters.
As per a rough estimate, there are around 35,000 autos fitted with GPS-enabled meters plying in the national capital and out of which, 2,100 autos have started showing pictures of Prime Minister's cleanliness drive through "advanced" meters having hard disk.
Two years ago, the Delhi government had made GPS mandatory for autos owing to safety of passengers, especially for women, in the national capital.

He said that as it is a good initiative taken by PM Modi, most autorickshaw drivers will be supporting it.
There are around 80,000 autorickshaws plying in the national capital and, the union claimed that they have a control over the maximum numbers of autorickshaws in the city.
