A medium range avalanche warning has been issued in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh today.
As per a report of the Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment, the avalanche warning will be in force for 24 hours beginning 1700 hours today.
The avalanche will in medium danger, an official spokesperson said.
The avalanche warning issued for Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Kargil, Shopian, Anantnag, Kulgam, Rajouri, Doda, Poonch and Reasi districts of Jammu and Kashmir and Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.
