Pop-rock singer Avril Lavigne was bedridden for multiple months due to Lyme disease, but is about halfway through her treatment now and says she is doing much better.
"I think for me it is like a second shot at life. I want to go out there and truly do what I love, so I am excited for life after this," she said.
The 30-year-old "Girlfriend" hitmaker, opening up about her illness, criticised doctors, who did not take her health as seriously as they perhaps should have, reported TIME.
