BJP vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna today asked party leaders and workers in Jammu and Kashmir to gear up political activities to make people aware about various welfare schemes of the Modi government.
Chairing separate meetings of senior leaders, ministers, MLAs, MLCs and district unit presidents of Jammu province, Khanna said, "District presidents should gear up political activities and depute party activists to every nook and corner to make the people aware about the centrally-sponsored welfare schemes."
"They should also tell people about the measures being undertaken by the state government for benefit of the poor, women, youth, farmers, border people and the downtrodden," said Khanna, MP and in-charge of party affairs in the state.
