Private sector Axis Bank today inaugurated a new branch in city as part of its plans to offer banking services to customers.
The branch, in Thirumangalam, was formally inaugurated today, by Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries, Principal Secretary, K Gopal, a press release said.
"We have witnessed increasing demand of banking services and products among the retail and institutional customers in Tamil Nadu and to bridge the gap we have expanded our existing network to cater to the customers", Axis Bank, Head-Branch Banking, Sanjay Silas said.

The bank would provide basic banking transactions and also specific needs of customers, offering banking products and financial services covering retail, institutional and customer lending.
Axis Bank currently has 267 branches and 1,374 ATMs in the State, the release added.
