The 50-year-old lead vocalist slipped and pulled a hamstring, suffering severe injuries after partying following the band's gigs in the Russian city on Friday and Saturday, reported Contactmusic.

"Axl needed medical attention for a nasty leg injury and was unable to fly out of Moscow with the rest of the band," a source said.

However, Rose is expected to make it for the Dublin show in Ireland before performing in Nottingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester and London in England over the next two weeks.

The 'Sweet Child of Mine' hitmaker is the only original member of Guns N' Roses and tours with a new line up of the group featuring Tommy Stinson, Chris Pitman, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Ron Thal and DJ Ashba.

The original band split up due to creative differences after lead guitarist Slash left to create his own music and landed gigs with artists like Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz.
