Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic colleges to come up in Tripura

"The central government has sanctioned Rs. 18 crore for building Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Colleges, but we need more money," Health Minister Tapan Chakraborty said.

The state government had earlier decided to set up three colleges and invited for expression of interests, he said.

The ayurvedic college will be set up at Udaipur in Gomati district, the homeopathic college at Kailasahar in North Tripura district and the Dental college in Agartala, he said.

With the founding of three more colleges in the state, the total number of such institutions will rise to five in the state.
