Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana today praised actress Richa Chadha for her excellent performance in "Masaan" and expressed happiness that more women-oriented films are being made these days.
"I watched Masaan, and I was zapped by Richa Chadha's performance - she is brilliant in this film. She was also great

"The film talks about women's emancipation and highlights issues of gender parity and equality," he added.
Khurrana said "Masaan" like "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" is a small town story, away from urban setup, which has purity of language and innocent milieu of rural set up.
"...Dum Laga ke Haisha also was set up in village ambience," he said.
"I am glad that films like Masaan is being made more and more. The story is narrated in a rural setup. I think they received laurels and accolades, globally and is worth watching," he said.
Khurrana said he wants to do more films like Masaan. "Of course I want to do more such kind of films - I had done Vicky Donor and my last film Dum Laga Ke Haisha were similar films," he said.
Reacting to Bollywood couple, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu's views on live-in relationship, Khurrana said he advocates such relationship and finds no fault in it.
"I will advocate live-in relationship, which does not end up in marriage - what's wrong in it. You may not have married and yet you do everything what wed-locked couple do - dating, quenching sexual desires and sundry other things," he said.
"I think live-in relationship is a very healthy exercise in fact. You should do that before marriage and not regret after marrying some one," he said.
Kunal and Soha had said: "We don't endorse live-in relationship for people, but it has worked wonderfully well for both of us before we got married to each other.
